Musing Mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following topics found HERE at Should Be Reading…

**Dani's topic choice for MM:  Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
Between the Lives by Jessica Shirvington
Blurb:
For as long as she can remember, Sabine has lived two lives. Every 24 hours she Shifts to her "other" life. She is exactly the same, but absolutely everything else is different. In one life she has a sister, in the other she does not. In one life she's a straight-A student with the perfect boyfriend, in the other she's considered a reckless delinquent. Nothing about her situation has ever changed, until the day when she discovers a glitch.

So far so good. I'm listening to the audiobook for it, and I’m loving the East Coast accent! Sabine is an entertaining and interesting character. I still have a ways to go, but I am really enjoying it so far. Jessica Shirvington’s writing is point on!

**Jax's topic choice for MM:  Maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

I don't understand how some ebooks are so pricey while others are reasonable. I've read the sample of this one book, and it seems great so far. The problem, besides some grammatical errors? The cost is $7.99 for this ebook. I know this is the author's lively hood, and it's their craft. I get it. But it bothers me that the price is that high, especially with errors in the first couple chapters. I'm sure some won't agree with me, and that's okay. I just feel if I'm asked to pay that much for an ebook, then errors shouldn't be sprinkled throughout the first few chapters, but it's just my opinion.
Does cost play a part in your decision to purchase ebooks?

  2. Yes it does affect how I buy. I think publishers should cut the price of ebooks but many times they do not. My Post at Mixed Book Bag

  3. I totally agree with you on pricing. In my opinion e-books should be cheaper than the physical copies.
