Musing Mondays asks us to muse about one of the following topics found
HERE at Should Be Reading…
Dani's musing: • Describe one of your reading habits.
I have the habit of putting a book down when it doesn’t hold my attention, and starting a new one that I know will. Then, when I finish the better one, I will go back to the first one and finish it. I have only ever NOT finished two books. My current “go-back-to-book” is Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness. It’s an excellent book with TOO MUCH fluff. Get to the point already!!
Jax's musing: • Describe one of your reading habits.
I have books that, if I really love them, I'll read them again and again. Some of those books are The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, Blood Promise by Richelle Mead, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, and the one I'm reading again at this moment is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
I read TFIOS this week...and saw the movie. I can see how that would be a good reread book.

Here's my MUSING MONDAYS POST”
I'm a big re-reader--re-reading a favorite book is kind of like visiting an old friend!
ReplyDeleteI've also become a lot more apt to set aside a book that just isn't catching my interest--I figure that if I'm not reading it for a class, there are just too many books out there to justify spending time on a title UI know I'm not going to enjoy.
I do like re-reading favourite books although I don't do it as much as I used too. As for putting a book aside, if I did that I'd never finish it (and I do finish most that I start)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting how we all have different habits when it comes to reading?

I have several book I keep on a special shelf so when I get ready to re-read they are at my finger tips.
